Britney Spears to Appear at Primetime Emmys?

Britney Spears is in talks to appear at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday--just one week after her poor performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, according to reports.

The troubled pop star took to the stage at the Las Vegas awards ceremony on Sept. 9 to perform her new song, "Gimme More"--but her set was panned by critics and celebrities alike.

And the 25-year-old is now looking to get her reputation and career back on track--by addressing her lackluster MTV comeback at the Primetime Emmys.

Spearsis said to be "in negotiations" with TV network Fox to put in an appearance on the show, although nothing has been agreed upon just yet.

A source at Fox tells Usmagazine.com, "The idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs. She's weighing the offer."

Another source close to Spears adds, "I can't say this is 100 percent not true. All I can say is that the Emmy people aren't dealing with her record company, her manager or her agents at William Morris. So if she is doing anything for the Emmys then it's not going through the official channels."

The 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Sunday.

Paris Hilton To Adopt Four Girls

Paris Hilton lately is quiet unpredictable. After she announced that she is ready to have kids, moreover she wants to get marry, here comes the next Hilton-shock.

Maybe this action was stimulated by her friend Nicole Richie, or maybe not, but Paris is sure in what she wants.

And by the time she will have her own kids, Paris Hilton has revealed that she would like to adopt four blonde girls.

A source close to the heiress has reported that "Paris has been saying, 'You don't need a husband to have babies.' There are babies in orphanages around the world, and she's hoping to find four girls with blond hair and pretty eyes to whom to give the Hilton name".

The source also said that "she's been telling people, “I want a brood of little mini versions of me. I'll raise them to be the most famous women in the world". Famous like was Paris, or with a new moral motivation?

The four little blondes with pink hairbands, tiny pet Chihuahuas and no musical talent is going to look a little scary. Maybe this is just another fad of Paris, who knows?

Britney Spears To Apologize?

Britney Spears is in talks to apologize for her MTV Video Music Awards disaster at the Emmys.

The 'Gimme More' singer is reportedly hoping to redeem herself after her flop performance Sept. 9 at the US TV awards ceremony this Sunday.

An Emmys insider said, "Britney is in negotiations to appear at the ceremony, but nothing is confirmed. The idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs. She's weighing up the offer.

A source close to the 25-year-old singer told Us Weekly magazine, "I can't say this is 100 percent not true. All I can say is that the Emmy people aren't dealing with her record company, her manager or her agents at William Morris. So if she is doing anything for the Emmys then it's not going through the official channels."

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Britney was pushed into her heavily criticised VMAs appearance by her entertainment lawyer Gary Stiffelman.

Reports claim the 'Toxic' singer was reluctant to perform, saying she wasn't ready, but Stiffelman insisted it would be great publicity for her new album due to be released on November 13.

Britney reportedly drowned her sorrows after her onstage catastrophe.

The pop star allegedly partied and downed shots with P. Diddy at his private suite located in the Fantasy Tower of Las Vegas' Palms Hotel until 7 a.m.

A source said, "She couldn't stand.

"Diddy's people had to get her back to her room as discreetly as possible so nobody would see what state she was in."

A representative for Diddy denies the claims, saying, "She stopped by the party for a while. He offered her a drink, which she refused, she drank water instead. She was not there until 7 a.m."

Cowell and 'Idol' Judges Offer to Save Britney

Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul

Music mogul Simon Cowell and his fellow American Idol judges have offered to help save Britney Spears' career--if she'll dump her entourage and take advice from them.

Cowell, former pop star Paula Abdul and producer Randy Jackson admit they were horrified by the troubled pop superstar's awful performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, and they want to help Spears get her career back on track.

British music mastermind Cowell, who earlier this week suggested the ill-advised performance may have "killed" Spears' career, now says, "We will take her under our wing for six months and we will produce a new Britney Spears."

And he insists he knows exactly what needs to be done to revamp the pop singer's chart-topping career.

He adds, "Keep her away from her stupid friends (and) buy her some underwear."

Speaking at the San Diego auditions for the next American Idol contest, Jackson added, "We are going to manage Britney, we're gonna take good care of her... Britney, if you're listening, we're here for you."
